Emenike on target in Gaziantepspor whitewash

The Super Eagles forward got his side’s curtain raiser as they caged the Falcons in a Turkish league game played on Saturday evening

Nigeria’s Emmanuel Emenike got Fenerbahçe first goal in their 5-0 defeat of hosts Gaziantepspor at the Kamil Ocak Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Emenike put the Yellow Canaries ahead with just seven minutes gone in the game after Dirk Kuyt provided him with an assist.
A second half brace from Moussa Sow and goals from Kuyt plus Emre Belozoglu ensured İsmail Kartal’s men got the maximum points.
With this win, Fenerbahçe sit atop the Turkish League summit with 46 points from 20 games and will host Akhisar Belediyespor on February 23.
