Xmas Eve: Lagosians Storm Markets At The Last Minute

As the year 2015 winds to an end, do you have some last-minute Christmas shopping to do? As expected, Lagosians have started the usual last minute rush, besieging markets, malls, ATMs and everything that goes with buying and selling.
Our reporter who moved around the city-centre today December 24, observed that trading activities have been heightened, causing serious traffic congestion, despite fuel scarcity.
Men and women alike were seen hustling and bustling for chicken, rice, clothes, shoes and other food items.
Although, most residents of the city are out of town to their villages to celebrate the yuletide season in their home town, the city of Lagos is still filled with all the razzmatazz it is known for.
