Al Ain forward, Emmanuel Emenike, called it quit to his international career in October 19 2015.
Emenike said there is no going back in his decision to quit International football.
According to Al Ain striker, his decision however has nothing to do with coach Sunday Oliseh.
Emenike said: “I have absolutely nothing against the coach (Oliseh)
“As for me, I still remain loyal to coach Sunday Oliseh and I want to believe he understands my decision.
“My decision has nothing to do with the coach, who is a brave man, a technically sound person, my decision has nothing to go against his vision for the Super Eagles.
“Me out of the team will equally ease pressure on the coach and it will enable the younger players to fight harder for the team.
“Nigeria have produced lots of talented goal poacher like Julius Aghahowa, Victor Agali, Yakubu Aiyegbeni, Samuel Okwaraji, Obafemi Martins, Ike Uche, Rashidi Yekini just to mention a few. I believe with God on our side, the team will fly higher without Emenike.
“I will be glad to see them qualify for both the AFCON and World Cup in 2018.
“We have lots of good players in the team and more are still coming in to contribute, so I believe the team will get better and stronger as time goes on. The team will be great under Oliseh.”
Congratulations to him!

Bloomberg reported that foreign investors were full of hope when President Buhari won the presidential election in March which initially accounted for the return of the bull to the stock market as investors believed that he will reverse Nigeria’s decades of poor economic mismanagement and unstable policy.
This hope was dashed as economy took a dip prompting foreign investors to sell of their stakes in anticipation of the worst.

According to Jan Dehn, the head of research at Ashmore Group Plc, which managed over $60 billion of emerging markets assets, stated that he was not convince that President Buhari could hold the economy together as things seem to be drifting apart.
Dehn as a fund manager had sold off Nigerian government bond in the past few years.
He said: “So far the Buhari administration has done all the wrong things,” Dehn said by phone from London.
“Not only has he been incredibly slow in taking any action, when he finally has taken action on the economic front it’s been diametrically opposed to sensible policy. That is a major disappointment given expectations prior to his election.”
Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Godwin Emefiele, had been summoned by the Senate to explain the reason for the continued free fall of naira.
