BREAKING NEWS: Plateau Speaker Resigns

The lawmakers had yesterday tried to impeach the Speaker but could not summon the will to oust him on the mere allegation of poor leadership style.

Efforts by the Plateau state Governor, Mr Jonah Jang and some members of the state house of Assembly to get rid of the house speaker John Dabwan was successful as the the speaker has resigned.

He however signed his resignation from the position today and was immediately replaced by Titus Alams.
