#CAR Campaign Against Rape:Organized by N.Y.S.C Jigawa State Dance and Drama CDS

It is no longer news that  series of rape cases have been reported in jigawa state, not more than a week ago, the jigawa state police command expressed worries over the increase of reported cases of rape and sodomy against minors in the state. Early last week, AuthorityNgr  reported that Jigawa had recorded 57 rape and sodomy cases against minors between January and June 2016.

The Public Relations Officer of the command, Mr Abdu Jinjiri, told newsmen in Dutse that the high number of cases of rape of under aged children in the state was worrisome.

In lieu of this events concerned corpers cds  Nysc Jigawa State Dance and Drama Cds (also known as Culture and Tourism CDS) decided to organize a  Campaign Against Rape (C.A.R). To raise awareness and educate the people on the dentrimental effects of rape to the society.
This massive campaign is going to begin on the 27th Of April 2017. This is a great move by the Community Development Service(CDS) and they would require as much support from us.
