FIFA Appoints Nigerian Referee For Club WorldCup

FIFA has appointed Nigeria's Peter Edibi as one of the referees for the upcoming Club World Cup.An appointment confirmation letter by FIFA Referees Committee has been filed, in which letter Edibi was asked to report to the Palmeraie Golf Palace Hotel in Marrrakech, Morocco by December 4.There are also five other African referees invited to officiate in the annual tournament, and they include.The event, which will take place in Morocco from December 11-21, will see the likes of Bayern Munich of Germany, Al Ahly of Egypt, Atletico Mineiro of Brazil, Monterrey of Mexico, Auckland City of New Zealand and hosts Raja Casablanca compete for the $20 million prize on offer.
