Rafael Nadal Is Out Of Australian Open 2016

On Tuesday Rafael Nadal lost to Fernando Verdasco in five-set match at Rod Laver Arena.

According to the tournament’s official report, Verdasco prevailed 7-6(6) 4-6 3-6 7-6(4) 6-2 in four hours and 41 minutes, condemning the 14-time major champion  to his earliest Australian Open exit in 11 attempts and only the second opening-round loss in his Grand Slam career.

After the match Verdasco said:”I played unbelievable in the fifth set from after the break he made against me. I just started hitting winners – I don’t know how. I was closing my eyes and everything was coming in.”
