Scan Reveals Messi Only Had A Slight Knock

It is good news for Barcelona as the latest scan on Lionel Messi  showed that the 2015 world footballer of the year only had a slight knock after being forced off at half-time in the Camp Nou outfit’s win over Athletic Club.

Messi complained of some pain in his right leg and it was feared that the Argentine had picked up a hamstring injury.

Doctors have confirmed that the 28-year-old is fine and according to them, “there is no cause for alarm.”

Messi scored from the penalty spot in Barcelona’s 6 – 0 bashing of Athletic Bilbao. Luiz Suarez got a hat trick while Neymar and Rakitic also got on the score sheet.

Last week, Messi was involved in a fracas with Espanyol’s Alvaro Gonzalez which led to the two exchanging words.

Speaking of his confrontation with Messi, Gonzales said he called the Argentine short before he was told he was bad.
