The Oscar-winning star isn't perhaps thought of as one of the chicest stars around, but she apparently wants to change that with this bold, multi-coloured and multi-patterned choice.

With neck to toe coverage in skin-toned, almost sheer fabric, puce boob tube, black and silver diamonte decals and red and gold armbands, Nicole looked a... well, let's call it a vision, as she attended an event in Shanghai, China.

Perhaps mum of four Nicole had decided to channel her inner Pokemon trainer while travelling the world? The dress certainly resembles some of the game's more outlandish cartoon dresses.

The promotional event was on behalf of Australian healthcare brand Swisse but it's not know if any Pikachus were caught.

While Nicole's fashion fail didn't perk people up, this video with her husband Keith Urban might be the most adorable thing ever.

The super famous couple proved they're just like us - maybe with better voices - as they indulged in a car sing-a-long this week to Keith's new song Fighter and captured the silly moment for a video on Facebook.

It starts with the couple sitting in the stationary car when the track comes on, with Nicole immediately exclaiming in a silly voice: "Oh my god, I love this song!"
