The former Paris Saint-Germain striker could make his Red Devils debut against Borussia Dortmund on July 30 or against Everton on August 3, following his Euro 2016 campaign
Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks set to be left behind as Manchester United travel to China for their eight-day pre-season tour, according to The Guardian.
The Sweden striker, who captained his country in Euro 2016 before calling time on his international career, will have an extended rest period due to his participation in the tournament.
According to FIFA rules all players must have a break of at least three weeks at the end of the season, meaning Ibrahimovic is available should Jose Mourinho choose to include him.
However, the Portuguese coach is expected to allow the 35-year-old, who is currently on holiday in the United States, additional rest time ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
