Movie lovers had a lot to look forward to in
2014, and movie producers did not disappoint either.
There was something for every movie lover from action
to comedy, thriller and fantasy.
Here is a list of the top ten hollywood movies of 2014:
1. Think Like a Man Too
Think Like a Man Too is a comedy film, the sequel to
2012 film Think Like a Man based on Steve Harvey’s
book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man.
A group of close friends applied relationship advice from
a book to their own romantic entanglements. However,
when all of the couples reunite in Las Vegas for
Michael (Terrence J) and Candace (Regina Hall)
wedding, a series of compromising situations threatens to
derail not only the big event but also the survival of
everyone else’s love affair.
2.The Other Woman
The Other Woman is a romantic comedy starring
Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann, Kate Upton and Nikolaj
Coster-Waldau, and Nicki Minaj.
New York lawyer Carly Whitten (Cameron Diaz)
lives by strict rules when it comes to romantic
relationships, but when she falls for handsome Mark
King (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), she begins an affair
with him. A surprise visit to Mark’s home reveals that
he is married to Kate (Leslie Mann). When they
discover yet a third woman (Kate Upton) caught in his
web of lies, the three join forces for revenge.
3. Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is a superhero
film featuring the Marvel Comics character Captain
America
After the cataclysmic events in New York with his
fellow Avengers, Steve Rogers, aka Capt. America
(Chris Evans), lives in the nation’s capital as he tries to
adjust to modern times. An attack on a
S.H.I.E.L.D. colleague throws Rogers into a web
of intrigue that places the whole world at risk. Joining
forces with the Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and
a new ally, the Falcon, Rogers struggles to expose an
ever-widening conspiracy, but he and his team soon
come up against an unexpected enemy.
4. X-Men: Days of Future Past
X-Men: Days of Future Past is a superhero film
based on the fictional X-Men characters that appear in
Marvel Comics.
Convinced that mutants pose a threat to humanity, Dr.
Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) develops the
Sentinels, robotic weapons that can detect a mutant gene
and zero in on that person. In the 21st century, the
Sentinels have evolved into highly efficient killing
machines. With mutants now facing extinction,
Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) volunteers to go back in
time and rally the X-Men of the past to help change a
pivotal moment in history and thereby save their future.
5. 22 Jump Street
22 Jump Street is an action comedy film. After
successfully reviving the 21 Jump Street program,
Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) are
sent to college to stop the distribution of a new drug that
killed a student. When Jenko becomes a star on the
football team, the duo’s investigation and “bromance”
begins to fracture.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle is a science fiction action
comedy film based on the franchise of the same name.
Spawned from a lab experiment gone awry, teenage
terrapins live in the sewers beneath New York.
Although their rodent sensei, Splinter, advises against
showing themselves above ground, the justice-loving,
pizza-eating brothers can’t stand idly by while evil
Shredder and his minions terrorize the city. With help
from intrepid reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and
her cameraman (Will Arnett), the Turtles set out to
save New York.
7. Non-Stop
Non-Stop is a mystery-action film starring Liam
Neeson, Julianne Moore, Michelle Dockery, and
Lupita Nyong’o.
Alcoholic U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks (Liam
Neeson) lost his passion for his work long ago. Even
though lives are potentially at stake during every flight,
he sees the assignment as just a desk job. However, his
“ordinary day at the office” becomes a high-stakes crisis
during a flight to London. Marks receives a series of
text messages demanding that he instruct the airline to
transfer $150 million into an offshore account, or a
passenger will die every 20 minutes.
8. The November Man
The November Man is a spy action thriller film based
on the novel There Are No Spies by Bill Granger,
which is the seventh installment in The November Man
novel series, published in 1987. It stars Pierce
Brosnan, Luke Bracey, and Olga.
Five years into his retirement, CIA veteran Peter
Devereaux (Pierce Brosnan) is pulled back into service
to help retrieve a Russian agent also his former lover
who has incriminating evidence on Federov, a corrupt
Russian leader.
9. The Legend of Hercules
The Legend of Hercules is an action fantasy film. As
the son of Zeus, king of the gods, and a mortal woman,
Hercules (Kellan Lutz) is blessed with extraordinary
strength. Caught in a forbidden love, Hercules is exiled
by his stepfather, the king, and sold into slavery. The
legendary strongman endures harrowing battles and
death matches. He must use his formidable powers to
fight his way back to his rightful kingdom, and restore
peace to the land.
10. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is a superhero film
featuring the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man.
Confident in his powers as Spider-Man, Peter
Parker (Andrew Garfield) embraces his new role as a
hero and spends time with Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone)
in between protecting New York from criminals.
However, his greatest battle yet is about to begin, with
the emergence of Electro (Jamie Foxx) and the return
of his old friend Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan),
Peter comes to realize that all his enemies have one
thing in common Oscorp.
So how many of these movies have you seen? Every
movie on this list is a must watch.
I think the best movie of 2016 in the genre of thrillers is the Interrogation (anyone interested can watch a movie here http://xmovies8.watch/), the plot of which is that after the FBI receives a threat that endangers the entire city, an interrogator (Copeland) and an I.T. specialist (Perry) are plunged into a series of mind games with a criminal mastermind, desperately racing against time to uncover the villain's true agenda.
