Tinubu Takes APC's Senate Ticket

Senator Oluremi Tinubu has picked up the Lagos
Central Senatorial District ticket of the All
Progressives Congress for the party’s primaries.

According to the NAN, Tinubu won with 2,354 votes
while her opponent, Mr Odutola Adetokunbo, had 25
votes.

Tinubu thanked the delegates and the people of the
constituency for the confidence they had in her.

She said that she would continue to provide quality
representation at the senate for the constituency.
The election was held at the Landmark centre in
Victory Island and lasted for 5 hours.
Oluremi Tinubu is the former first Lady and currently
a Senator of Lagos State and she grew up in Ogun
state.
