KOSCIELNY BOOST FOR GUNNERS

ARSENAL have been handed a HUGE defensive boost
by the return to training of defender Laurent Koscielny.
The Gunners have struggled without the French central
defender, with their options at the back stretched to the limit
by the absence of the 29-year-old.
He has not played for the club since the 2-0 defeat at
Chelsea on October 5, after being ruled out with an
Achilles tendon injury.
However, he now looks ready for a return to action after
joining his Arsenal team-mates for training at the club's
London Colney base Monday morning.
Koscielny was sent home from duty by France after
complaining of pain in his Achilles during the October
international break.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger originally suggested the
injury could be managed with a series of injections.
However, the problem has proved more serious than first
thought, leading to a lengthy layoff for the central defender.
