Three injured in Indian grenade attack

At least three civilians were injured Saturday in a
grenade attack upon a major police station in downtown
Srinagar, summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir,
said local TV Times Now.
TV footages showed smashed windows of cars outside a
bunker of the para-military Central Police Reserve
Force in Lal Chowk, central Srinagar, with heavy
presence of security forces.
The attack, reportedly carried out by Muslim militants,
came one day after Indian Prime Minister Narendra
Modi visited Indian- controlled Kashmir in a local
election campaign rally in Jammu, winter capital of the
state.
Over 12 people, including security men, civilians and
militants, were killed in fighting Friday between militants
and Indian security forces in Indian-controlled Kashmir.
